Respro Cinqro Silver anti-smog mask
The CE Cinqro™ mask is an improved version of the Cinqro available for sale from the 2019/2020 season. The product provides safety and comfort in urban conditions confirmed by EU test certificates.
The CE Cinqro™ mask is the ideal choice for lovers of urban sports - most commonly chosen by runners, rollerblading and cycling fans. It is a top quality model featuring innovative Powa™ Elite valves created for optimal airflow. Two valves of this type ensure minimal breathing resistance, so that even during intensive exercise the mask does not impede inhalation and exhalation. A great advantage of the Powa™ Elite valves is also the improved filtration system, which reduces the amount of moisture retained by the filters during breathing.
Unlike other CE models, the Cinqro contains not 1 but 2 filters including a universal submicron filter CE HT-250 Hepa-Type™ and a combination filter with an activated carbon layer DACC™.
In comparison to the previous CE version, Cinqro™ offers:
improved ergonomics through the use of an adjustable head strap, preventing the mask from slipping,
a new, more versatile CE HT-250 filter with extended life,
compliance with Regulation 2016/425 EU for all formal requirements,
new packaging design further enhancing the mask's appeal.
The CE Cinqro™ mask is distinguished by its modern design and very high quality workmanship, so that it fulfils its purpose perfectly and fits the face perfectly. Comfort of use is also a priority - the CE Cinqro™ collection masks are lightweight and do not cause chafing or discomfort when worn. The facepiece is made of breathable neoprene, which is reinforced with specially designed seams. The anatomical shape, the comfortable adjustment with Velcro tape and the head strap and mask nose guarantee a perfect fit.
The Hepa-Type™ filter works by using electrostatically charged fibres that attract airborne particles, dust and pollen. The technology used captures most pollutants as well as bacteria, viruses and fungal spores.
The DACC™ + Hepa-Type™ combination filter additionally contains dynamic activated carbon, which also traps chemicals from car exhaust. With it, you can protect yourself from inhaling health-hazardous hydrocarbons and acid gases.
The filters can be used interchangeably depending on your needs and conditions of use - the Hepa-Type™ model is ideal for areas where you are not dealing with very high concentrations of exhaust fumes, while the DACC™ filter will be an excellent choice when training in the city centre.
The CE Cinqro™ mask benefits from a number of state-of-the-art features to improve user comfort and product functionality. The most important of these include rotating valves to prevent fogging of glasses or goggles, silicone membranes that are insensitive to temperature changes and valve housings with movable wings that allow very high airflow.
When purchasing the mask, stock up on Respro Sanitisier which is used for disinfection. His regular use extends the life of the filters.
Technologies used in the mask
Double Power Channel - dual use of the Power Channel in each valve, allows very large volumes of air to flow
V-Wings - the valve housing are movable wings whose lift allows for greater diaphragm lift and Power Channel operation
Valve Pivot - a unique valve attachment system, allows the valve to rotate so that exhaled air does not lead to vapour on glasses or goggles
O2 Neoprene - uses an extremely durable neoprene material that is specially shaped to make wearing the mask extremely comfortable
Max Hole Pattern - the placement of special holes around the mask design allows for proper and high airflow while maintaining the shape of the mask
Velcro™ Fastener - the ideally designed Velcro is non-restrictive, allows a wide range of adjustment, and fits perfectly to any head structure
Reinforce Sewing - reinforcing seams placed in the most sensitive areas of the mask (top and bottom) for exceptional durability and resistance to tears and mechanical damage
Anatomic Shell Shape - the innovative shape of the mask ensures a perfect fit to the face and adaptation to any build
2Valves - two exhalation valves in the mask to remove water vapour, heat and carbon dioxide even faster
Inter-change Mounting - a special filter mounting system allows for quick and effortless replacement of a used filter
Comfort Filter - the mask filter is specially curved, unstitched, and designed to fit perfectly to the mask while not restricting face and mouth movement
Silicon Membrane - the material from which the valve membrane is made allows the mask to be used in all conditions over a wide range of temperatures
Technologies used in the filter
Sub-micron - sub-micron filter capturing particles down to 0.3 microns - HEPA-type.
PM2.5 - particulate filter up to a diameter of 2.5 micrometres or less, which, according to the World Health Organisation, is the most harmful to human health among atmospheric pollutants
PM10 - PM10 particulate matter filter, which is a fraction of dust with very small grain diameters - up to 10 micrometres. The grains are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs.
DACC - the filter uses Dynamic Activated Carbon Material (DACC™) with a 95% pure carbon weave, originally developed by the British Ministry of Defence for use in protecting against chemicals and bacteria in wartime.
L-Resistance - unlike other particulate filters, which rely on mechanical retention manifested by high airflow resistance, Respro's sport filters have very low airflow resistance.
